WELCOME
As a Skate Canada member organization, we offer Canada's nationally regulated CANSkate, POWERSkate, STARSkate and SYNCHROSkate programs, delivered by a staff of professional, NCCP trained coaches.
We are a non-profit organization and as such rely on the contribution of our volunteers to operate the Club. Our volunteer Executive members and committee chairs work tirelessly to provide our members with a skating season full of fun, fitness, achievement and friendship.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer work is essential to the quality and success of our club, and to your child's experience here. Prior experience is not required. Volunteering in the Club is a great opportunity to learn about our recreational and competitive programs, as well as a fun way to meet other club members and have a good time while helping out!
**Every family who has a registered skater must volunteer. If your skater is in CanSkate, a minimum of 4 hours must be completed, 2 must be at Stony on Ice (1 shift). If your skater is in Star or Synchro skating a minimum of 6 hours must be completed throughout the season, 4 of which must be at Stony On Ice (2 shifts). Once your volunteer commitments have been fulfilled you will receive your deposit back.** We will be collecting a $150 post-dated cheque to cover this at the beginning of the season. If the cheque is not received, your skater will not be allowed on the ice.

Come give synchronized skating a try this September.
Our "come try synchro" & team placement sessions are open to skaters of all ages and levels, from an club. You do not need to be a Skate Stony Mountain member - our team includes skaters from clubs across Manitoba.
Come see what synchro is all about, skate with a team, meet new people and maybe find a whole new way to love skating!!
